The customer has the right at any time (during office hours) to check, modify, and delete their information from the register. As a rule, data is not disclosed to second or third parties. Data may be disclosed to authorities in the event of an attack on the company or other matters requiring investigation. Data is processed within the limits permitted and required by the Personal Data Act. Personal data contained in the register will not be transferred outside the EU or EEA.

Data Content of the Register

The data stored in the personal register is information provided by the users themselves on the wulffpro.fi website. The following information regarding the data subjects may be processed in the register:

  • Person’s name
  • Contact details (postal address, phone number, email address)
  • Information regarding the use of electronic services and content (e.g., newsletter subscriptions), technical information sent by the data subject’s browser to the controller’s server (e.g., IP address, browser, browser version, the page from which the data subject arrived at our site), as well as cookies sent to the data subject’s browser and related information
  • Marketing-related information, information related to the management and maintenance of the customer relationship or other relevant connection, and changes to the information specified above
Principles of Register Protection

The register is stored securely, and databases are protected by technical means. The register is used only by persons whose job description includes its use. Data is disclosed to third parties only due to a statutory notification obligation, such as at the customer’s own request or based on a legal request by an authority.

Right of Inspection and Right to Demand Correction of Information

In accordance with Article 17 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the data subject has the right to check what data concerning them has been stored in the personal register. An inspection request must be sent electronically to: hallinto.wulffworks@wulff.fi.

The data subject has the right to demand the controller to rectify, delete, or supplement personal data in the register that is incorrect, unnecessary, incomplete, or outdated for the purpose of processing, as well as the right to be forgotten (i.e., to be completely removed from the systems). In addition, the data subject has the right to object and the right to data portability. If the data subject’s request for correction is not accepted, a written certificate of the matter will be provided to the data subject.

Other Rights Related to the Processing of Personal Data

The data subject has the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, primarily in the country where their permanent residence or workplace is located or where the alleged breach of the Data Protection Regulation has occurred. The data subject has the right to prohibit the use of their data for direct marketing by notifying the controller.
